Log and rate the NBA games you watch, and carry your fan card in Apple Wallet

Hoopster's journal is a diary of the games you've watched: rate each one, say where you saw it and who with, and look back over your season. Your fan card goes with you in Apple Wallet.

Rate a game

  1. Open any game in Hoopster after the final buzzer. Games can be rated once they've finished.
  2. On the Rate this game card, tap a star, or half a star, from Poor to Classic.
  3. Tap Save. Sign in with Apple the first time, so your journal is kept for you.

Five stars with halves gives a score out of 10, which is how the journal shows it.

Add the details

Tap Add details after rating to remember more than the score:

  • What did you think? A few words of your own
  • Where did you watch? At home, at the arena, in a sports bar and more
  • Photos, up to four from the night
  • Watched with, to tag friends who use Hoopster
  • Who can see this: Only me, or My friends

Then tap Save to journal. You can change it later with Edit details.

Look back in My Journal

Open the Explore tab and tap My Journal. The Timeline lists every game you've logged, and you can filter it by team, season and rating. At the top: games logged, your average rating and how many teams you've seen. My NBA Journey marks milestones such as your first game in person, your first playoff game, your first Christmas game and your first 10/10. The Friends view shows what friends who share with you have logged.

Your fan card in Apple Wallet

Your fan card is your Hoopster profile as a card: your name, your team, your favorite player and the year you started following them, in your team's colors. Build it from Home with Build my card, and share it as an image with Share card, free.

With Hoopster MVP, tap Add to Apple Wallet under the card. The pass carries your team, name, player and fan-since year, plus a line that keeps itself up to date: your team's next game, then the live score, then the final. Near tip-off it appears on your Lock Screen. If you have Hide scores on, the pass never shows a score. Hoopster MVP is $2.99 a month or $19.99 a year in the US.
